A ll new KPU students starting in Spring/January 2024 are invited and encouraged to attend KPU Welcomes You (New Student Orientation)! This is an opportunity to:

  • Connect with your fellow KPU students, staff, and the whole KPU community.
  • Learn about all the amazing resources and services available to you.
  • Explore the campus.
  • Prepare for your first semester at KPU.
  • For a chance to win some prizes!

Kwantlen Polytechnic University (“KPU”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains your Personal Information using Eventbrite in accordance with section 26 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (“FIPPA”), R.S.B.C. 1996, c.165 for the purposes of registration, communication, coordination, and future planning of Orientation and Transition events you are attending.

Eventbrite manages your personal information outside of Canada. Your personal information will be managed in the United States of America and other locations where Eventbrite utilizes its service providers. Eventbrite may use your personal information for marketing purposes. If you do not feel comfortable answering particular questions in Eventbrite, please leave the question blank, and send an email answering those questions in the body of the email with the registration confirmation notice from Eventbrite attached to orientation@kpu.ca.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring/wear?

A bag to put your KPU swag and resources in is highly recommended. Refreshments are available, but please feel free to bring your own water bottle and food. Casual Attire and wear comfortable shoes for the walking. The majority of the event is indoors, but there maybe short periods outside.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is on us for this event! If you are interested in purchasing a parking pass for the semester, you can learn more at: https://www.kpu.ca/parking-transit/visitors

Can I bring a friend or family member?

This event is meant for New KPU Students starting in Spring 2024. Student attendees are grouped with other fellow students. For a special accommodation, please contact orientation@kpu.ca
