Join us for a day long silent retreat with Carla Waites, certified MindfulnessEveryday facilitator. Experience mindful practices that encourage us to "take in the good", that encourage us to nurture new neural pathways so that we may allow the everyday positives to truly soak in and that encourage us to quiet our innate negativity bias.

Join us for guided meditations, mindful movement, mindful eating, a gentle yoga session with a certified yoga instructor and the powerful yet simple practice of forest beauty baths (not to worry, clothes stay on!). A yummy, nourishing vegetarian lunch will be provided as well as snacks, coffee and tea throughout the day.

The peaceful beauty of this facility and surrounding area plus the support of kindred spirits will nurture participants in this day of self-care, replenishment and rejuvenation. Embrace the opportunity to just be, to rest, and to reflect.

Please note that this retreat will be held in silence.

FAQs

What can I bring into the event?

Dress for the weather, including footwear, as some of the activities will take place outside.

Bring a yoga mat. If you do not have one, let us know.

Bring a refillable water bottle. The Ignatius Jesuit Centre is committed to NOT using one-time use water bottles and ask that only refillable water bottles be used. The tap water is excellent at St. Brigid's Villa!
