    Frequently asked questions

Do I need to read a specific book to join?

No! This isn't a book club, so you don't have to read anything specific. But you're welcome to come and tell us what you're reading and loving lately!

Do you have a list of the books you'll be talking about?

Yes! We make a handout with the titles discussed, so you can remember and save them for later. We also make sure to leave space for notes, so you can write down what you find interesting or any recommendations from other attendees!

Do I need to bring something to talk about?

No! You're completely welcome to just come by and listen - participating is encouraged and appreciated, but not required.

Is the North York Central Library branch wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We have an elevator to the second level. It is a different elevator from the main library elevators, and is close to the outside doors in the atrium.

Are there accommodations available for this program?

If you require an accessibility accommodation to participate in this program, please contact Accessibility Services by email, accessibleservices@tpl.ca, or voicemail, 416-393-7099, to make a request. Please contact us at least three weeks in advance.
