About this event
We are happy to welcome you to the Waterloo Spring Pitch Event 2024! This event is for students, friends, family, mentors, judges, and coaches registered and participating in the Technovation Program this season. The Waterloo Pitch Event will be held on-campus at the University of Waterloo on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. We will have live pitches, a female-identifying STEM entrepreneur speaker, lunch, photos, and prize-winning pitches! We hope you and your friends and family will join us!
Each person attending must register for their ticket. Please select the ticket type you need (Technovation student, family/friend, judge, mentor, volunteer).
Please note!
- All teams are welcome however, only Junior and Senior Division teams who submit their projects will be able to pitch to a panel of judges and receive feedback at this event
- Students who haven’t submitted are still welcome to attend this event
- Teams do not need to be a member of the Waterloo Chapter to attend this event
- Teams who pitch their project at this event have a chance to win prizes such as "Best Pitch" and "Best User Design", as well as the Grand Prize!

Yes. If you have submitted your project and wish to pitch at our event, you must select our event on the Technovation Challenge platform. Events are visible from the 'My Dashboard' section.
Yes. You can still attend the event with your team however you won't be able to give a pitch.
Yes. In addition to the onboarding steps that will have been sent to you via e-mail, you will also need to register for a ticket on Eventbrite.
