The City of Edmonton and its partners are offering a FREE Tenant Empowerment Certificate Course that can help you find and keep your housing. This 3-hour course will give you the knowledge and tools you need to find housing that works for you. Please note, you need to show up in person to take this course.

Staff from the City and Bissell Centre with expertise in residential tenancy legislation and financial empowerment will help you. You will learn:

  • Your rights and responsibilities as a tenant
  • The responsibilities of your landlord
  • How to make the most of your money and find savings
  • How to create a safe home
  • How to navigate the application process

Refreshments and free transit tickets will be available when you show up in person at the course.
