Frequently asked questions

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available. Weekend rates are $6.00 for the entire day. It is highly recommended that participants park in the Visitors Lot in Parking Lot 7. Other parking areas do not have a time cap, so it will cost more.

Will lunch be offered?

Yes, lunch is included in the price of your registration. By registering, you guarantee lunch. For walk-ins, lunch is not a guarantee.

Can I attend all the workshops?

No. Participants will have the three options to choose from. Material and recordings from the other workshops may be available after the event.

Are refunds available?

No refunds will be available for participants.

Do I need to provide any proof of registration when I arrive?

Yes, please ensure that you have valid and current TESL Ontario/Canada membership available when you arrive for the event. This is particularly important for the AGM, as only TESL members can participate and vote.

What if I am unable to attend? Can I cancel my registration?

If you are unable to attend, please notify the TESL Ottawa team immediately at teslottawa1@gmail.com. You will not be able to cancel your registration, however, you can give your ticket to another individual within in the same category (i.e. TESL Ottawa member to TESL Ottawa member).
