Presented by Dare Campbell of Learn, Grow, Repeat Education & Coaching

We are seldom taught how to gracefully accept “no,” especially in the context of our romantic, sexual, or play relationships. This workshop will discuss how to become partners who can receive boundaries and rejection from our loved ones with grace and care. By exploring the vital components of open communication, setting healthy boundaries, and acknowledging what makes it hard to give and receive a “no,” this workshop will provide you with tips and tools for embracing the vulnerability and care required in healthy relationships where both partners feel safe to express their needs and desires, as well as respect the same in their partner.

Ahead of the workshop, attendees are encouraged to come up with examples from their own lives where they have had challenges around setting boundaries, asking for their needs, or where they have been challenged to navigate rejection or boundary-setting by their partners.

This class is open to all attendees over the age of 18.

About Dare:

Dare Campbell (they/them) is a sexuality and relationship educator and coach based in Tkaranto (Toronto, Ontario). They are a proudly queer, non-monogamous, pleasure-affirming community member who loves to facilitate discussions and experiences that strengthen relationships and encourage a sense of curiosity and exploration. Their education and coaching focus areas include self-love & acceptance, consent, communication, non-monogamy, & power exchange. An intersectional lens informs Dare’s coaching and workshop facilitation, recognizing that we live in a complex world with many identities, needs, and desires, and are often subject to systems that actively cause us harm. Dare is invested in growing their anti-oppressive practices. They welcome any feedback on how to make their teaching more accessible and inclusive.

In their classes and coaching, Dare provides participants with tools and examples that help them communicate more clearly and authentically with themselves and their partners. Dare believes that a collaborative approach, focused on creating a sense of safety and shared vulnerability, is the key to great sex, connection, and a love-filled life.
