The BIG SWIM 2024

The BIG SWIM is a fundraising swim challenge. Swim the Northumberland Strait between New Brunswick and PEI, alongside the Confederation Bridge.

Registration is limited to 50 swimmers & closes May 1 so act quick!

All swimmers must be accompanied on their crossing by a Level 1 Paddle Canada certified kayaker.

The BIG SWIM 2024 weekend will be July 27-28, 2024:
- July 27: Mandatory Safety Meeting & Paddles for all participants
- July 28: The BIG SWIM ~ exact crossing time TBD based upon recommendation from our safety officer

$350 Registration Fee includes:
- Participation in The BIG SWIM

Fundraising Minimum:
$1,000/swimmer (but, of course, we encourage more). All funds go to support Brigadoon Village - committed to bettering the lives of children, youth and families living with a chronic illness, chronic condition or special need in Atlantic Canada.
