About this event

  • 7 hours

This ride is all about appreciating community in every sense. In our inaugural Hamilton Community Ride, we'll be party pacing through city streets, gravel and country roads.

We were overwhelmed by the turnout & enthusiasm at our second SSL community ride last year and would love to keep the party going! Riding bikes with friends & appreciating all that Hamilton has to offer is what we're after.

Please ensure that you complete the waiver below before attending the ride!

What kind of bike do I need?

Most bikes will do just fine! We do reccommend at least a 30mm width tire to feel confident on the off road bits, but we encourage you to bring whatever bike you have and hike-a-bike as needed!

What if part of the route feels too challenging?

The goal is to enjoy the ride! We encourage hike-a-bike and descending on foot as you feel comfortable.

What does 'no drop' mean?

In a few words, we will not be leaving anyone behind. In the spirit of party-pace, we will be stopping regularly so we can keep the party together along the route.

Should I bring food?

We'll be providing some pre-ride coffee & there will be an opportunity to buy drinks & snacks at the end of the ride, but if you would like to bring food to share you are more than welcome to!

How long will the ride take?

The route is about 34 km in length and we will taking it nice and easy. You can expect to be riding for a couple of hours. We will end at the park outside of the Eastwood Arena.
