THE GHOST WALK

Saturday October 22, 2016 6PM - 10PM


Experience a Halloween event like no other! Ever been to the Fort la Reine Museum in the darK?! Haunting spirits, creeping werewolves, and cawing ravens will keep you company as you trick or treat through our candlelit sleepy hollow Fort la Reine Museum Village. Wear your most ghastly and ghostly garb, experience our NEW Haunted Mansion...tour the Living Dead Forbidden Forest, journey through our Train to Nowhere.. then gather around the caldron and meet our Spooky Forest Animals. Make ‘n’ take a Halloween craft, enjoy free hot chocolate, and come join the family friendly fun at the third unforgettable annual Fort la Reine Ghost Walk!

Museum has crafted a signature Halloween destination experience.


October might be the best time to visit the Fort la Reine Museum. Frightfully unique to the Fort la Reine Museum, the Ghost walk is a “Must see-um” signature experience. Explore the 5 acre site where haunting spirits, and creeping werewolves, keep you company as you trick or treat a truly haunted museum village. Of course you’re personally invited to wear your most ghastly ghostly garb and join in on this family friendly fun. This event is generously sponsored by the Portage Co-Op.With the tremendous attendance that the Ghost Walk received last year, tickets purchased in advance are recommended.

FAQs

Is the activity indoors or outdoors?

You will be moving between many outdoor unheated buildings. There is one heated main visitors centre at the entrance, as well as multiple fire areas to warm up in. Please dress for the outdoors, and of course, COME IN COSTUME AS ITS HALLOWEEN!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This a family friendly all ages event!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Ample parking is available at either our West or East parking lots, with attendants in the lot for assistance.
