It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to the most-attended event of Peel’s Spring Season - The Learning Place’s A Night Under The Stars Fundraising Gala on May 31st, 2024!

Since coming out of the COVID-19 Pandemic, The Learning Place has been raising vital funds to help the Peel Region community provide essential educational services such as Literacy in English and Math, Digital Literacy, Independence upskilling and Employment readiness programs! This year’s Gala theme is A Night Under The Stars, bringing us together once again to help illuminate lives and ignite hope in our community!

Our annual Gala is our largest signature event of the year, making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most and raising essential funds to support our core programs and services at The Learning Place and Pathways to Growth. Join us for an evening of exciting entertainment, raffles, breathtaking starlit décor, spectacular menu, and heartwarming real-life stories from our learners inspiring celebration of kindness and hope!

Together as a community, we'll raise funds to support our mission of providing quality education to vulnerable populations in the Peel Region. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to make a difference. Mark your calendars for this incredible event!

What will be the meal selection?

A Night Under The Stars Gala will be a buffet style dinner selection with meal options for all dietary needs

Is there parking available?

The Garden Banquet and Convention Centre is accessibly located behind the Mandarin on Highway 410 and Steeles with ample amount of parking.

Are children permitted at this event?

Unfortunately this is an adult only event at this time.

What are the payment methods that will be accepted during the night of the event?

We will accept cash, debit and credit for all raffle tickets, 50/50 draw and drink tickets.

TLP is funded by The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) and is a Employment Ontario funded agency. We provide literacy upgrading services to individuals living in the Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon) for FREE. A valid SIN number is required for all registrations.
