In this event, there are three breakout room sessions, where the speakers share their experiences of innovating in various disciplines from science, sustainability, and within their communities. You will be asked to pick ONE breakout session to join.
Breakout Room #1 Creating Social Impact: Empowering Communities Through Connection
Emerging from last year’s changes, we’ve come out with a new relationship with empathy, ownership and personal agency. Utilizing these aspects of the entrepreneurial mindset enables us to connect and create impact across communities. Engage with local leaders to learn how they are making change and where we can start as members of our communities.
Breakout Room #2 Small Acts Big Change: The Power of Personal Sustainability
Our daily choices may seem insignificant, however the sum of our combined individual efforts on sustainability lead to a greater impact on our planet. Understanding resourcefulness, ownership and collaboration are the key to creating these collective positive changes. Connect with and learn from speakers who strive to make a positive impact on the world by tackling challenges in sustainability.
Breakout Room #3 Discovering Unparalleled Synergies: The Overlaps Between the Worlds of Science and Entrepreneurship
There is a notion that Science and Entrepreneurship are mutually exclusive. However the nature of both disciplines begin with curiosity and end in impact. The key to fulfilling potential in both disciplines relies on how we utilize opportunity recognition and our tolerance for ambiguity.
