The workshop begins with a warm welcome and acknowledgment, creating a safe space. Topics include debunking myths, exploring resilience in entrepreneurship, reclaiming identity in work, and fostering self-compassion. The closing recaps insights, opens for Q&A, and provides resources for support and self-care.

The Speaker:

Kayla Breelove Carter is a clinical traumatologist who uses an integrative historical trauma focused approach to healing, including somatic and empowerment therapies, to guide healing and recovery of trauma and symptoms of adversities. Kayla is a clinical supervisor and licensed with the Colleges of Counselling Therapy in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Kayla holds CCC designation as a Canadian Certified Counsellor, they are on the board of MAPS Canada, and recipient of the top 100 black women in Canada and Coralus 2023 Venture.
