Together In Grief: Adult Bereavement Drop-In Support Group welcomes adults of all ages (18+), who have experienced any type of loss or death (ie. sibling, partner, friend, spouse, parent, child, family member, pet, loved one) and at any point during your grief journey. All are welcome. This program is lead by highly-trained and compassionate volunteer grief support facilitators.

This support group will be held on the first and third Tuesday afternoon of each month and first and third Wednesday evening of each month at Stedman Community Hospice, Hankinson House, 445 Grey Street, Brantford. Light refreshments will be provided.

The afternoon sessions are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The evening sessions are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you would like to attend. Registration is required to attend.

Together In Grief will be held in-person in Brantford at Stedman Community Hospice, 445 Grey Street. You will receive an email reminder the morning of each support group meeting day you have registered for with the support group information. If you would like to register for multiple support session dates, please call Krista at 519-751-7096 ext. 2518 or email kcampure@stedmanhospice.ca.

Please note that masking is no longer required, however will remain optional based on individual comfort. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well.

Is there a cost to attend?

Together In Grief: Drop-In Grief Support Group is FREE to attend.

Is there parking on-site and is there a cost?

There is parking at the hospice and across the street in the clinic parking lot. Both lots offer free parking. There is also over-flow parking at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre next door. You will need to ask for a parking token to exit the lot, which can be obtained at the Stedman front desk.

Is the building fully accessible?

Yes. Stedman Community Hospice is accessible.

What do I do if I have registered, but I am no longer able to attend?

Please email kcampure@stedmanhospice.ca or call Krista Campure at 519-751-7096 ext. 2518 to notify us of this change. This will also allow us to open a space on our waiting list for another participant.

Will there be refreshments provided?

Yes. Light refreshments will be offered. If you have any known allergies, please inform us prior to attending the support group meeting. Please email kcampure@stedmanhospice.ca or call Krista Campure at 519-751-7096, ext. 2518.

Am I able to still wear a mask? What is the masking protocol?
