Tired of dating apps? Come meet eligible singles in person!
We've been running monthly singles mixers in Toronto that draw a great crowd and are a lot of fun. We love meeting the people that come to our events and hearing about the connections they've made.
We're running a special edition for this event - a mixer for Arab singles! This event is dedicated to the Arab community. Anyone is welcome, but keep in mind that the location, food, music, ambiance, and event will be targetting a middle eastern / Arab crowd, and most people in attendance will be of that background.
We will have a private space at the restaurant, icebreaker games to help get conversation started, a special menu to order from, and an open-format speed dating round so you can meet as many singles as possible. We will end the night with a draw for a special prize!

Frequently asked questions
Opal Lounge has a front area that will be open to the public, separate from the space for our event. After you go up the stairs, follow the welcome sign to turn right, behind the cash register, to find the larger space where our event will be held on the main floor.
Yes, Opal Lounge has a full menu available for ordering. Come earlier if you like to order dinner before the event starts. We will also be serving some snacks, first come first served.
No, Opal Lounge does not serve alcohol. However, there is a fantastic menu of non-alcoholic drinks to order from!
Yes, shisha is available to order.
We run an open-format speed dating where we announce every 5 minutes to switch up who you're talking to, and you can approach anyone. This is not a seated event. We will be removing chairs and tables to allow for more space for people to mix and mingle.
If you bought a ticket, you are automatically entered in the draw. We will announce the winner live at the event at 10:00 pm. The winner has to be present to accept the prize. If a name is called and no one steps forward, we will draw another name until someone is present.
This event is open to everyone, but the venue, food, music, and ambiance are targeted towards Arabs, so keep that in mind. Whether you're mixed race Arab, born in Canada, or just arrived here yesterday, you could find a match here. You don't have to meet certain criteria to come to our event.
