TrakSYS Comprehensive Training, Aug 2020

Remote TrakSYS Comprehensive is a 5-day instructor-led, hands-on, remote training course that combines the curriculums from TrakSYS Introduction and TrakSYS Advanced into a single course. Participants will cover the complete core training material from the TrakSYS Introduction course, followed by four half-day advanced modules that explore TrakSYS features and capabilities in more detail.

Where is the location of the class?

This class will be held remotely via Zoom. If you are not familiar with Zoom, this is free downloadable software, but can also be accessed purely through the web. While downloading the application is not required, we recommend doing so, as this will allow you to screen share with the course instructors so they can best assist you during the course.

What are the device requirements needed to attend this remote course?

Please ensure that your device meets the following minimum requirements:

• PC with Windows 7, 8 or 10
• Capable of Remote Desktop Connection (please enable this Windows feature before the class)
• Widescreen Resolution (minimum of 1600 pixels wide, recommended 1920 x 1080)

Do I need an Internet connection to attend this class?

Yes, you will need an Internet connection in order to attend this remote training course.

Do I need to download course material ahead of time?

We will be creating a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment for use during the training. All of the materials will be hosted there. To access it, you will need a machine that can make a Remote Desktop Connection to that network. Please ensure that the machine you can use a Remote Desktop Connection and that it will be on a network that will allow access to it. An example IP can be requested the week before the training course to verify your connectivity if needed. The presentation of the material will be completed through Zoom.

Does my device need to have a speaker or microphone?

No. Zoom provides both dial-in conference number for phone audio, as well as options for computer audio if that is better suited to your workstation.

Will there be scheduled breaks for meals, stretching, etc. during the course?

Yes, there will be scheduled breaks throughout the day, every day of the course.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you are unable to attend the remote training class, you may transfer your ticket to another contact at your organization.
