About this Event
London and Area Association for Volunteer Managers (LAVA) is thrilled to present Rob Jackson as our guest speaker for the January professional development workshop. The topic will be on understanding and engaging 21st century volunteers.
The session will look at some of the ways in which society is changing and how these changes affect volunteerism. We will also discuss what leaders of volunteers can do to update their practices to accommodate these changes, further enhancing their engagement and retention of 21st century volunteers. His presentation will be 3 hours, with about half of the workshop focusing on reflection, discussion, and action planning.
Date: Tuesday January 19th, 2021.
Time: 8:30am to 11:30am.
We will be hosting virtually through Zoom. Link will be provided closer to the workshop date.

About Rob
Rob Jackson is Director of Rob Jackson Consulting Ltd, a consultancy and training company that helps engage and inspire people to bring about change.
Rob has more than 26 years experience working in the voluntary and community sector, holding a variety of strategic development and senior management roles that have focused on leading and engaging volunteers.
