A half-day session to learn the basic structure of construction contracts and common contract terms.

About this event

A strong understanding and appreciation of the complexities of a construction contract and its administration are key skill requirement for construction project managers. Knowing what to look for in a construction contract is a must for any owner or contractor representative to make sure that a project is successful for all parties concerned.

This half-day workshop will provide participants with the knowledge required to review and effectively manage construction contracts, allowing them to make timely decisions and take calculated risks. This workshop helps participants develop confidence in their construction contract administration (CCA) skills.


By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Read and understand construction contracts
  • Recognize the complexities of construction contracts
  • Emphasize the role of contract reviewers in preventing construction challenges.
  • Identify key items to watch out for in any construction contract


This course will be delivered in one half-day session (10:30am to 2:00pm Eastern time) on November 19, 2021.
