Understanding the Power of Sangha & Group Guru

Sangha are the people working alongside you to wake up. You use each other to pull one another out of the mires of suffering. Group Guru is the future, the group mind from which we are designed to move. In this modern approach to sangha and Group Guru, we will dance in the interplay between the collective, the individual, and—liberation!

When?

Classes for this course which will take place live on Sunday mornings (November 10th, 17th, and 24th), with additional classes on the fourth weekend flash retreat (December 1st - 2nd).

Classes will be video streamed live at 9:30am MST. The recording will be available for one week after each class.

The course ends with a Flash Retreat on December 1st to 2nd, 2024 - and there will be classes in the morning and afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday.

We offer this course on the basis of dāna, as well as a super early bird admin fee of $80 USD more than four weeks before the deadline, $100 USD two to four weeks before, and $120 USD less than two weeks before the deadline. The admin fee helps cover the costs of running these online courses.

For the teachings themselves – Dāna is a Sanskrit term meaning “generosity”. With dāna, we give as a mutual exchange of generosity. You may have come across this in the form of “pay from the heart”. It’s our joy to offer this course, and we trust you’ll match our time, energy, and passion by giving an amount of money that feels good and healthy to both you and us. We suggest a range between $120 and $500 for this four-week course. Please note that this dāna will be for the four weeks of classes including the flash retreat. Flash Retreat

-The Flash Retreat is an opportunity to go deeper with the material in a contemplative structure. With this we recommend setting time aside for the whole weekend of December 1st - 2nd if possible.

Other Course Details

-When you register you will receive a confirmation email with details instructing you how to access the course.

-We recommend you attend the classes live to benefit from joining with others, having the opportunity to ask questions, and interacting in breakout rooms. Recordings are available for one week after the class if you are unable to attend.

-Homework for anyone attending teachings: opportunities for weekly practice or reflection are given at the end of each class. Experiences can be shared on our private Planet Dharma Facebook Group. Instructions to access the group will be in your confirmation email.
