Behaviour Consultation and Intervention Services presents the following Fall Caregiver Empowerment Workshops. Attend a session to learn about a variety of topics to support your child or youth’s behaviour and learning. Workshops will include presentation of information, small group discussion and problem solving, as well as a chance to connect with other caregivers. These events are designed for adult caregivers only.

Concurrent child programming will be run by Behaviour Interventionists. There will be 10 child program spots per session available for sign up on a first-come-first-served basis (select "Child Program" add on).

Understanding the “Why” Behind Concerning Behaviours

Who: Caregivers of children and youth age 2-19 with all levels of support needs.

What: This workshop is for caregivers who are looking to increase their understanding of effective ways to decrease concerning behaviours and improve positive behaviours at home and in the community. You will learn about why behaviours occur, reinforcement and proactive supports.

When: Saturday May 11, 2024. 10:00-12:00
