Event description

Description

Thousands of migrant workers come to Ontario every year, yet they are often invisible to ordinary Canadians. We expect Canadian fair treatment for these workers but some workers in fact need better protection.

Come and hear testimonials from migrant workers themselves and from those who advocate for the rights of migrant workers.

Current KAIROS priorities include increasing pressure towards ratification and implementation of the International Convention on the rights of all Migrant Workers, a fair and dignified immigration policy, and the development of temporary foreign worker programs based on fair labour standards and inclusive of comprehensive monitoring. Come and find out why this is so important!
