The Vancouver East NDP is preparing for a possible 2021 Federal Election. Join the rest of the membership and special guests to nominate our Candidate and elect a new Executive of the Riding Association.

The only candidate for nomination by the candidacy deadline is Jenny Kwan, M.P.

Voter eligibility: Members in good standing of the NDP residing within the boundaries of the Vancouver East Electoral District on 30 November 2020 are eligible to vote for the nomination and all members in good standing are eligible to vote on other resolutions.

If you prefer, you can mail a cheque with your full name, address and a statement that you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident making a personal (not corporate) donation to:

All Canadians with taxable income receive generous tax credits when they donate to Canada’s NDP. For example, a donation of $500 costs you just $150. If you donate, you get back:

• 75% ($300) for the first $400 you donate.

• 50% ($175) for the next $350 you donate.

• 33 1/3% of the rest, up to a total tax credit of $650 for the maximum donation of $1625 in 2020 (for NDP and all of its candidates combined).

You can give a maximum of $1,650 in total in 2021 to Canada’s NDP including all local campaigns, riding associations, or nomination races combined.
