You're invited to meet the VISITFLANDERS Canada team for a festive toast and some holiday cheer! As you may be aware the Flanders region of Belgium is experiencing a surge in Canadian visitation as a result of the Great War centennial period of 2014-2018. Our aim for the next two years is to assist the travel trade industry in Canada to create itineraries, travel packages and seamless experiences for Canadians visiting the region for so many meaningful anniversaries and commemorative events.
We will present information on our three day Canadian Battlefield Tour enhanced with the chocolate and brewing traditions Flanders has become known for the world over. The VISITFLANDERS in market team is second to none in terms of on-the-ground contacts, resources and support. And while 2017 is almost upon us, we will provide a peek at 2018 - Armistice Year and 2019 - Peace Year and show you the events, anniversaries and information required to help you put together programs for them!
