Following the success of the mandatory Focus on the Victims of Abuse training offered in 2022, Phase II will begin on Saturday, January 21. Presented in a one-day colloquium format, in a parish hall in your area, it is intended for churchwardens, paid employees, catechetical volunteers (18 years and older), and SASMAD volunteers from all parishes and missions in the archdiocese. Here are some testimonials.

"With the ombudsman listening to victims, this Focus on the Victims of Abuse training is essential to learn together and get involved together for prevention," Archbishop Christian Lépine.

"The testimonies are very touching and make us think about the importance of "never again", Danielle Leduc-Poirier, CSR, Saint-Martin Parish.

"This training is essential. Thank you so much for this program. I feel better equipped and protected", Sylvie Quenneville, CSR, St-Enfant-Jésus Parish.

If you are a churchwarden, paid employee, catechetical volunteer 18 years of age or older, or SASMAD volunteer, please consult the seminar calendar and register by clicking on the EventBrite link that corresponds to your preferred date and location.

This training is offered free of charge and each seminar will be led by inspiring leaders and will include several periods of interaction.
