A Message From the President:
It's been a challenging year for Vernon Women in Business. Despite conducting surveys, hosting town halls, and making efforts to address feedback, our attendance has been disappointingly low.
However, with a 30-year legacy behind us, we remain committed to fostering a thriving
community.
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for June 12th at 11:45 am at the Sandman in
Vernon. It's crucial that we have a strong turnout for the vote on the new executive team, as they will play a pivotal role in revitalizing and expanding our vibrant networking group.
Considering recent setbacks, we're excited to announce some initiatives aimed at rebuilding over the summer. We'll be organizing informal meetups at no cost, outdoors, and in the mornings before work, providing opportunities for networking and connection in enjoyable settings.
We hope to see you there, ready to contribute to the future success of Vernon Women in
Business.
