About this event

Activities for Physics 20 or Physics 30

Wednesday , Nov 2, 2022 at 5:00 PM (MDT)

Set-up at 4:30PM

Location: BioSci Microbiology M-149

or via ZOOM

Are you wondering how to do a particular lab in Physics 20 or Physics 30? Do you have a favourite hands-on activity your students do, a demo that clearly illustrates a misconception, a lab that produces rock-solid data year after year? Then this evening is for you!

Participants are encouraged to bring all the equipment for 1 station for a lab/demo/activity. These will be set up in BioSci M-149. Then everyone will get to cycle through the stations. Discussion to follow on extensions or modifications or improving the student experience. Several teachers have already promised to bring one!

Even if you don’t share a lab/demo/activity, you are welcome to attend in-person or virtually. For those attending in-person, we will be sharing pizza.

If you are sharing an activity, please let us know before Oct 31, 11:59PM via e-mail to AlbertaAAPT@gmail.com
