Collingwood free walking FOODIE tours run on Wednesdays during the summer at 11 am.

Explore Collingwood with a friendly local guide and try some local dishes along the way! During this 2 hour tour, we pop by 5 local eateries to sample their fare and learn the story of how they came to be one of our favorite places to dine! Think of this tour as trick or treating for grown-ups!

Our meeting spot is OUTSIDE of the white marble Service Canada building at 44 Hurontario Street. Paid parking is available on the street. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

A maximum of 20 spots are available per tour. No-shows cannot be refunded as food is preordered on your behalf.

Can you accommodate my dietary needs?

Restaurants will prepare items for us before our arrival. It is the participants' responsibility to ask the venue about ingredients. In the past, there have been meat, dairy, gluten, shellfish and/or peanuts in some dishes.

Can I bring my children?

You know your child best. This event involves trying new food, listening, and chatting with other adults. Please do not bring children who may disturb the enjoyment of other guests. Feel free to purchase a ticket for your child if they will be eating.

Can I exchange my ticket if I can not attend?

Please contact us directly to request an exchange and we will do our best. We can not make changes any later than several days before the event, nor honour tickets of no-shows.

Is the tour free?

No. Collingwood Free Walking Tours offers "free" guided tours of Collingwood on Monday afternoons on a pay-what-you-wish system.

Is the tour accessible?

The majority of the tour takes place on the sidewalks in the Town of Collingwood. We typically do not go indoors. However, there are some venues that are easier to access than others. If you are a wheelchair user, please contact us prior to your visit so we can ensure your comfort and inclusion.

How far do we walk?

The tour takes place over 2 hours and we cover approximately two blocks.

Do you offer discounts for groups?

Our price point is very low, with our vendors offering significant savings. Therefore additional discounts can not be offered.

Can I purchase additional food and beverages?

If you wish to make an additional purchase please ask the guide if there is time, as vendors expect the tour on a schedule. You can always return to your favourite spot afterward!

What restaurants do you go to?

Where we visit differs each season, and sometimes each tour. Part of the fun is not knowing where to next!

Can I bring my dog?

Although the majority of the tour is outside, we do pop into a number of venues that are not dog-friendly.
