Yellowhead County has initiated a project to update its Land Use Bylaw. This planning process provides an opportunity for collaboration on topics important to the County and local residents and business operators including home-based businesses, sea cans, work camps, signage and manufactured homes.

Members of the public are invited to attend the upcoming focus group hosted in Hinton:

West Focus Group

Date: Wednesday, October 28, 2020

Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Location: People’s Centre, Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre, Hinton (805 Switzer Dr.)

Participants in the focus group are local residents and other stakeholders representing a range of interests in the Land Use Bylaw. This workshop is being organized to give you an early opportunity to review the existing municipal regulations, identify issues/opportunities and seek your insight as we determine the direction for this project. The format of the focus group will enable stakeholders to actively provide input on key topics through small group exercises and information sharing. Snacks and light refreshments will also be provided.

Your attendance is important for us at this stage of the project.

Please note that capacity is limited to 12 due to COVID-19 spacing restrictions, so RSVP early to ensure you retain a spot.
