Q&A with a Public Health dietitian for child care menu planners

In Person Session
Join York Region Public Health’s dietitian Rachel Morgan for a discussion on menu planning in child care. This informal, in-person session will be hosted in a town hall format. Participants will have the opportunity for small group work, menu assessment and return to their centre with concrete steps of how they can ensure their menu meets the newest Child Care Menu Planning - Practical Guide.
Our registered dietitian will be there to answer questions from the group in a town hall format. This session is open for cooks or staff that menu plan. Please bring your centre’s menu or recipes to share in the conversation.
There will be opportunities for questions, discussion and peer sharing.

Presenter Bio:
Rachel Morgan is a Registered Dietitian with York Region Public Health and has been working in community nutrition for over 10 years. Rachel is passionate about feeding little ones and aims to make mealtimes a joyful experience for all. Rachel has worked with many community groups to support parents, educators and school staff with feeding kids. Rachel loves seeing kids enjoy food as much a she does. Prior to becoming a dietitian, Rachel worked in various child care centres and has a deep appreciation for early years staff.
This session will be in person and you will receive a reminder email the day before the session takes place.
