About this Event

Do you love bees? As pollinators of flowering plants, native bees play an important role in our environment and our food production. Bees come in every shape, size, and colour. Learn how to identify our mason bees, discover what makes their life cycle so fascinating, and learn how to build a bee house of your own.

To build a Mason Bee house with us at the end of the program, you will need to have the following materials ready:

  • old plastic milk jug or soup can
  • newspaper or white computer paper
  • wire
  • HB pencil for tube sizing
  • tape
  • scissors
  • glue stick

This program is suitable for families with children ages 6 and up.

Our suggested donation is $3.50 per person or $6 per family. One ticket required per device. We are supporting other community organizations with our programs and your donation helps us continue to offer these amazing programs!

Sign up to receive a Zoom link for the live presentation. The link will go out one hour prior to the presentation. Please register only one ticket per device.
