About this event

Our meetings are alternating In-Person and on ZOOM (guests are welcome to all our meetings!). We are a welcoming place and space to develop your public / virtual speaking, presentation and leadership skills.

Our Zoom meetings are "Camera On" for all attendees to maximize the experience of facial expressions and body language critical for effective communication.

Weekly Agendas include:

• Reading of Our Mission statement

• Guest Introductions

• Introduce a Word Of The Day

• Table Topics impromptu speaking opportunities (if you're comfortable!)

• Toastmaster Toast on a chosen Theme for the meeting

• Speakers

• Speech Evaluations and more... We look forward to meeting you soon!

Our virtual meetings are held on Zoom, our In-Person meetings are held at Deer Park Toronto Public Library, second floor meeting room (near St Clair Ave E & Yonge St.).

WHO WE ARE

Established in 1988, we are a Toronto, Ontario club with a long successful history of helping our members develop their speaking skills in a very welcoming atmosphere. Our members are a friendly diverse group consisting of individuals with a variety of experiences, cultural backgrounds including students, retirees and everything in-between.

WHEN

CURRENTLY OUR MEETINGS ALTERNATE IN-PERSON, AND VIA ZOOM MEETINGS.

Generally, we meet every Thursday with the exception of the 1st Thursday of each month.

In July and August we have a reduced Summer Schedule of twice a month.

Meetings start promptly at 6:30pm and end at approximately 8:30pm (8:00pm in the summer). Please check our Club Calendar for the next scheduled meeting.
