The Swiss Representations in Canada invite you to a virtual Yodel Masterclass.
Professional singer and yodel instructor Sonja Morgenegg will introduce us to the world of yodel. We will learn about the history and the different styles of yodel and - of course - we will also sing together!
Whether you are already an experienced singer or an absolute beginner - all levels are welcome.

About the instructor:
Sonja Morgenegg is a Swiss singer, composer, improviser and voice teacher.
She has performed on several national and international stages especially in Switzerland and Germany. She studied at the School of Jazz in Switzerland and has experience in a variety of different music styles (Acapella, Blues, Big Band, Jazz, Rock, Singer Songwriter and Swiss Yodel). She sings, improvises, composes and is a voice coach at her own Swiss Yodel School.
Since her childhood on a little farm she is yodeling in her own style. In her twenties, she started to learn traditional yodel from different teachers in Switzerland. In the last years ,she focused her studies on the Natural Yodel Style, „Muotathaler“, Nordic Joik and Georgian Yodeling.
