Edmonton Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre company rooted in the belief that great stories change people; and that Edmonton deserves a stage where that happens.

Founded in 2023, we produce theatre for the full spectrum of human experience: classic and contemporary works for adults that make old questions feel urgently new, and family productions that treat young audiences with the intelligence and emotional honesty they deserve. We believe children are some of the sharpest assessors of good theatre, and that the empathy learned in a darkened room together is something no classroom can replicate.

Our productions don't hand you answers. They hand you a conversation. Whether it's a Canadian classic that reframes how you see history, or a beloved children's story that validates feelings kids rarely see reflected on stage, we leave room for the messy, hopeful, complicated truth of being human. Even in our darkest work, there is always light.
