From then on, everything fell into place.

THE BACKSTORY
Deanna LoTerzo’s transition from a business management career with life-long security was prompted by an acute health crisis, diagnosed in 2001. Confronted by a not-so-optimistic prognosis she immersed myself in the study of how emotions, subconscious beliefs and childhood traumas link to the manifestation of physical illness, disease and maladaptive behaviours. And consequently, how those can be reverse-engineered to assist in the body’s natural healing and recovery process.
Ultimately abandoning her role within the corporate sector Deanna sought to further her understanding of the metaphysical aspects of healing. Among many certifications, the most meaningful was as a ThetaHealing® Technique Practitioner and Instructor which served as a precursor of what was later to become her own Integrated Reprogramming Technique (IRT) and her current practice as a psychotherapist.
Deanna’s commitment to life-long-learning continued with the addition of a Diploma in Family Studies (Arts & Sciences) at Langara College, Vancouver, BC, which focused upon the sociology and psychology of the North American family dynamic.
Grounded in mindfulness, positive psychology and neuroscience, her book, BRIGHT MIND, HAPPY HEART, BEST LIFE, follows in the footsteps of Dr. Bruce Lipton, PhD., an internationally renowned New Thought leader in the field of epigenetics, and of Gabor Mate MD, international author, who has a special interest in the impact of trauma and childhood development.
The transformative processes in her book have consistently demonstrated, for over two decades, how it is possible to use simple sensory techniques to reverse-engineer emotional trauma, unhappy memories and rigid beliefs from cellular memory. Referred to by many as "an attainable miracle for your life," these gentle yet powerful tools facilitate instant results and lasting change.
She attributes her own radical healing, in part, to a 7-month sabbatical spent in Nepal to study the philosophy and practice of Buddhism in a monastery north of Kathmandu. Deanna shares a few unexpected, fun and enlightening experiences of that journey in her book - BRIGHT MIND, HAPPY HEART, BEST LIFE.
As a practitioner, Deanna brings to her clients and students a safe haven of healing in a non-judgmental, nurturing environment. She encourages the active practice of truth, compassion, love, and personal accountability as the pathway to a life of harmony, joy and vitality.
