Canada Bridges
Canada Bridges supports young people to be catalysts for change in their lives and their communities. Our vision is a world where youth can stand up, show up and be heard. We work by invitation
alongside our neighbours and partners in Treaty 7. Our mission is to listen, learn and collaborate for unveiled youth potential. Each year we interact with and support over 200 youth as they explore the change they want to create in the world and take the first steps to achieving that change.
When youth wisdom is valued and celebrated, it can be transformational. At Bridges, we are inspired by current events, particularly by seeing youth leaders standing up, sharing their learning, and speaking out for changes in their communities all over the world. We strive to provide community space that facilitates similar dialogue and breaks down barriers for society to truly hear youth voices. Storytelling is a natural process to share about who we are and where we've come from - our goals, aspirations, beliefs, and learning. The narratives and stories we tell affect how we experience the world. Stories are vital to community and relationships, building connection and allowing for shared understanding.
