CasildART Contemporary CIC is a not-for-profit, Black-led gallery that showcases the work of contemporary Black artists. Founded by Sukai Eccleston, its director, in 2019 and incorporated as a social enterprise in 2021, her passionate mission is the elevation of narratives from the African and Caribbean diaspora. After successfully exhibiting at various pop-up locations around the UK, CasildART Contemporary has established a permanent gallery space within Connaught Village in Central London. The EmpowHER show is the first in an exciting programme of exhibitions and events planned for 2024.
