Children's Showcase

Our Story

Over thirty years ago a group of parents met and created something wonderful for their kids and their kidsʼ friends. They decided to bring live, professional, family entertainment to Penticton.

That was the beginning of Childrenʼs Showcase. Today it is still going strong, making it the longest-running childrenʼs entertainment series in British Columbia!

The Childrenʼs Showcase season runs between September and May. Each season consists of four shows with a selection of entertainment from music, dance, magic, acrobatics, comedy, puppetry, and theatre.  Over the years Children’s Showcase has hosted such names as Goh Ballet, Trent Arterberry (comedy & acrobatics), Figura Theatre (puppets), Max-i-mime (mime), Sheldon Casavant (magic) and UBC Opera Ensemble.

Our Childrenʼs Showcase Theatre Angels program makes tickets available free of charge to people of limited financial means.
