Prajna Path: Living in Wisdom
Founder & Lead Facilitator: Darren Harper
After more than a decade teaching philosophy in the UK’s literary and academic institutions, I reached a turning point. I found that much of modern "wellness" lacked intellectual substance, while academic philosophy often felt detached from the actual business of living. To address this, I relocated to Udaipur, Rajasthan, to live and develop a more rigorous, applied approach to contemplative inquiry.
I am the founder of Prajna Path, a project designed for the "Intellectual Seeker." My work is for those who value clarity and reason but yearn for a deeper, more soulful engagement with existence.
A Bridge Between Traditions
My teaching is framed by the Vedic tradition of my new home in India, yet it is deliberately curated for the Western-educated mind. I seek to bridge the gap between ancient Eastern depth and Western rationalism, offering a path that is profound and transformative without being shrouded in dogma.
The Seasons of Inquiry
Prajna Path operates through a rhythmic, seasonal structure, offering a sanctuary for serious inquiry through several distinct strands:
- Curated Online Seasons: A year-round curriculum of talks and courses in Contemplative Philosophy and Reflective Writing, designed to bring ancient wisdom into the modern context.
- The Annual Udaipur Retreat: A flagship residential immersion held in the heart of Rajasthan, where we move from theory into lived practice.
- One-to-One Mentorship: Specialized pathways in Philosophical Companionship and Writing Mentorship for those seeking a dedicated, high-depth partnership in their personal or creative development.
Whether you are "Spiritual But Not Religious" or simply a curious mind seeking a more examined life, Prajna Path offers the tools and the companionship to explore life’s deepest questions with both heart and intellect.
I look forward to our shared inquiry,
Darren Harper
