Exeter Life Drawing runs a weekly, in-person, two hour life drawing class on a Thursday evening. We’re based on the top floor of the Cygnet Theatre in beautiful Exeter in the UK. We pride ourselves on being a relaxed and friendly class, which fosters a strong sense of community.

We have an incredible list of around 30 models that change weekly. Most classes are untutored (you are left to draw as you wish!) and we lean heavily on shorter, dynamic poses (between 1 and 15 minutes long) for the first half of the session, and a longer 45 minute pose for the second half.

We also run occasional taught beginners sessions, themed sessions and longer-format pose sessions - just keep an eye on the upcoming classes.

The classes are run by Exeter based artist and children’s illustrator Clare Elsom, who set up Exeter Life Drawing in 2019.
