Freedom Talks Life
Freedom Talks supports individuals and families navigating chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and ongoing difficulties with emotional regulation — especially in homes where parents and carers are doing their best, yet emotions still feel intense, unpredictable, or exhausting.
Founded in 2020 by Wonuola Akintola, a Neurodiversity Coach and certified behavioural analyst. Wonuola brings over three decades of professional experience from working with children, young people, adults, educators and families affected by neurodevelopmental conditions and related issues, including emotional dysregulation, developmental trauma and stress-related challenges.
This depth of experience informs a calm, compassionate approach that integrates neuroscience-informed emotional education, trauma-aware practice, and faith-anchored insight – helping families understand what is happening beneath behaviour and why emotional reactions escalate so quickly under pressure.
Freedom Talks recognises that emotional regulation difficulties ripple through entire systems, impacting relationships, learning, parenting confidence, and wellbeing.
Through guided conversations, practical tools, and supportive reflection, participants are supported to move:
- From emotional firefighting to steadier regulation
- From guilt and frustration to understanding and clarity,
- From survival mode to calmer, more connected family life.
Freedom Talks serves families who are tired, stretched, and longing for peace — offering understanding without blame, structure without rigidity, and hope grounded in both wisdom and compassion.
