Jazz is the quintessential American art form. Born of African-American and European-American parentage it is woven into our history, culture and DNA. Jazz has influenced nearly every musician in the western hemisphere since its inception — from Jimmy Rodgers to Amy Winehouse . . . Bob Dylan to Billie Eilish. It’s the blurring and bending of boundaries that makes jazz beautiful.
