Lea Rowing Club, Hackney

Lea Rowing Club is a community sports club based on the River Lea in Hackney, on the stretch of canal between Tottenham and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We're a registered charity, run by volunteers.

We pride ourselves on being a positive, inclusive community where everyone has a place. We’re now one of the largest clubs in the UK, and offer every kind of rowing - from novice to medalist, competitive, recreational, juniors, schools, adaptive, learn to row... the list goes on.

British Rowing named us Club of the Year 2022 in recognition of our commitment to prioritise inclusion and broadening access to rowing, alongside performance rowing at the highest level.
