Founded in 2012, SocialHRCamp has helped thousands of HR and Recruitment practitioners and leaders throughout North America learn about how to increase the value they provide to their organizations. What started as an experiment has evolved into an invaluable source of learning and content for the industry. SocialHRCamp is a hands-on and highly experiential learning event that pushes attendees beyond their comfort zones. Event sessions and topics focus on important areas such as HR and recruitment technology adoption, virtual workplaces, diversity, equity, and inclusion, employee engagement, employer branding, emerging social media, and more.

Framed as an "unconference meets experiential learning workshop", events are hyper-focused on content, learning experiences, networking, socializing, and inspiration. More than 85% of event sessions are lead by HR and Recruitment practitioners and leaders who are doing some amazing work in their respective organizations. Further, we partner with leading HR and recruitment tech vendors to showcase their platforms and how they are helping to reshape the world of HR. To date, SocialHRCamp has partnered with more than 65 leading vendors throughout North America, and more than 250+ people have led a session.

While we know and recognize that change can be slow, SocialHRCamp organizers and volunteers have been determined to play a major role in enabling the HR and recruitment industry to become a significant player within the broader business landscape. In typical SocialHRCamp fashion, we have pivoted, shifted, and taken many calculated risks that have aimed at improving each event. In 2021, due to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic, we will be partnering with Airmeet to offer a highly engaging virtual event experience, for attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and speakers.
