Tergar Canada

Meditation allows us to calm the mind, open the heart, and gain insight into the nature
of ourselves and our world. Under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, a well-
known Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and best-selling author, Tergar Canada
supports individuals as well as groups and communities in learning to live with
awareness, compassion, and wisdom.

Although grounded in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage of Mingyur Rinpoche, Tergar
Canada presents an accessible approach to meditation that can be practiced by
anyone, regardless of religious or cultural background. Tergar Canada Meditation
Communities and Practice Groups across the country offer regular meditation and
study sessions, as well as occasional workshops on meditation and the core principles
of the Buddhist path.
