The Keeper's Kitchen

ABOUT

The Keeper’s Kitchen grew from a deep desire to expose the natural beauty, culture, folklore, food-ways and heritage of the community of St. Shotts and Cape Pine Lighthouse as the ‘hidden gems’ that they are on the Southern Avalon.

Combining simplicity with authenticity, we engage and excite your senses through food, music, stories and art - the most fun ways to learn about a place and its people.

We are located approximately two-hours drive from St. John's on the scenic Irish Loop via either the southern shore highway or through St. Mary's Bay - we are mid-way between the two at the bottom of the Southern Avalon.

Situated between Mistaken Point UNESCO World Heritage Site + Cape Race Lighthouse, and one of the best up-close shoreline places to whale watch in the province - St. Vincent’s Beach, The Keeper's Kitchen is your perfect home base for exploring the area.
