LearningRx Richmond Hill (a Brain Training Centre for kids) and Knowledge Makes Cents (a Financial Success Academy for kids) are partnering this summer to bring you a unique camp!

Do we have to register for both the Brain Camp and Money Camp?

You have the option to 1) only enroll in the Brain Camp, 2) only enroll in the Money Camp, or 3) enroll in both Brain and Money camps.

Brain Camp Description:

Brain Camp creates an engaging environment in which your child can discover tools for thriving in school and life. A cognitive enrichment program for children and teens ages 8 to 14, Brain Camp exposes kids to fun activities that work on core brain skills, including memory, attention, and logic.

Brain Camp also teaches kids how to solve problems, set S.M.A.R.T. goals, harness the power of a great attitude, and use cool tricks to memorize things easily (for example, campers will learn an easy visual strategy and use it to memorize the first 20 elements of the periodic table).

Brain Camp is offered by LearningRx, a pioneer and leader in cognitive training with about 80 brain training centers across North America. Brain Camp may be cancelled if insufficient enrolment.

Money Camp Description:

FUNancial Freedom Game (offered by Knowledge Makes Cents): The best way to teach children good money habits is by giving them their own money to experience. Through active participation in a fun, competitive, and simplified financial game, your children will experience “real-life” and relevant money situations. They will “earn” their own income, budget between needs and wants, pay income taxes, give back to the community, build assets, and be introduced to the importance and advantages of Paying My-Future-self First. Prizes are given to students who achieve financial freedom in this game! In addition to your child receiving a KMCents Certificate upon completion of this program, special memos are sent to you, the Chief Financial Parent, with tips on how to enhance the money lessons at home. Our students rate this financial game off the FUN chart!!

Money Camp may be cancelled if insufficient enrolment.

We are The Financial Success Academy for Kids that offers fun, comprehensive money programs: where we’re raising generations of money- savvy children in a fun filled environment.

Our children’s programs – offered after school and in summer camps – start as early as kindergarten building the framework to understand where money comes from, how to become a savvy saver, the difference between needs and wants, and the importance of giving back to our community. The programs continue all the way through middle and high schools to teach budgeting, building assets, and how to handle personal finances.
