Are you a youth worker interested in learning about mental health while networking with other workers?

The Mental Health Community of Practice Invites You to Attend our Mental Health Symposium themed: Trauma-Informed Practice

WHEN: Thursday, June 14th - 9:00am – 4:30pm (Registration starts at 8:15am)

Registration: 8:15 am

Keynote Speaker: 9:15 am

Morning Workshops: 10:30 am

Lunch: 12:00

Afternoon Workshops: 1:00 pm

Open Space: 2:45 pm

Plenary and Conclusion: 3:45 pm

1) Neurobiology of Mental Illness

2) War-Related Trauma That Impacts Mental Health

3) Mindfulness (may be held outdoors and participants should bring comfortable shoes)

4) Meditation and Self-Care (held outdoors and participants should bring comfortable shoes)

5) Trauma and Its Impact on Communities
