About this event

Why pray? What does prayer teach? Can prayer mitigate our social media flared “distraction sickness”? How does prayer transform the crucible of inner life? If prayer is “familiar conversation” with God, how are our bodies and spirits educated in the exchange? To consider these and other questions, this course brings together patristic, early modern, and contemporary writings on prayer, education, and ethics.
