ATTENTION COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Wondering what life could be like after you complete your studies?

As part of National Engineering Month, the City of Toronto's Engineering and Construction Services Division is hosting a FREE event for college and university students. This is your chance to talk to engineering and technical professionals working for the City, to hear about their careers, and find out the key factors that have contributed to their success.

This free event is open to college and university students and their professors. Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Technology, and Construction programs.

The event starts with a short presentation in the Council Chambers at City Hall, followed by group discussions in the Member's Lounge. Refreshments will be served.



Getting here:

City Hall is conveniently located at 100 Queen Street West, between Bay Street and University Avenue. The closest subway stops are Queen Station (Yonge Street) and Osgoode Station (University Avenue).

Creating the safe and sustainable municipal infrastructure that makes Toronto so livable is the responsibility of the City's Engineering & Construction Services Division. With an annual capital spending valued at over $500 million, the Division provides specialized engineering services to internal clients, including Toronto Water, Transportation Services, and Solid Waste Management Services, designing and constructing roads, sewers, watermains, and other municipal infrastructure. The Division also undertakes the engineering review of development applications and proposals for works by the development industry, utility companies, and other public agencies and third parties, such as Metrolinx, processing 1,000s of applications each year.
