About this event

Helping Families Thrive

Our two-part Essential Skills Workshop, delivered by facilitators with lived and living experience, provides an introduction to evidence-based DBT and EFT skills to help people communicate more effectively with a person living with significant mental health challenges.

We as peer facilitators focus on validating every participant’s experiences while creating connections that foster resilience, understanding, and hope.

Please note that attendance of both parts (May 4th and May 11th) is required for this workshop.

A $25 dollar "no show" fee will be requested via email after your Eventbrite registration is completed. This fee will be refunded to you if you attend both parts of the workshop. Please look for an email in your inbox.

WE WILL NOT RUN THIS GROUP WITHOUT A MINIMUM OF 10 PARTICIPANTS. SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO ENSURE YOU CAN ATTEND!

If this is your first time attending our programs, we highly recommend that you attend at least one of our drop-in Peer Support + Skills groups before the start of this session. This will give you a good idea of what the program will look like as each meeting is focused on one skill from our Essential Skills Workshop. Click here to sign up now for one of these groups now.

We would like to acknowledge the shared, unceded traditional territory of the Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwantlen and other Coast Salish Peoples on which we work, play and learn.
